Washington Master Chorale is collaborating with the New Orchestra of Washington, Six Degree Singers, and the Children’s Choir of Washington, on two performances of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, in a version arranged for choir, two pianos, and 5 percussionists! The program also includes a rarely-heard masterwork, selections from American Song Books by George Crumb, for voice, 4 percussionists, and prepared piano.
