SACRED JEWEL BOX

Our 16th season opens with our new “Jewel Box Series,” featuring Washington Master Chorale Chamber Chorus performing intimate a cappella concerts in small, architectural "jewels” of the city. As seating will be limited for these intimate evenings of transcendent music, we anticipate tickets will sell out quickly.

"Sacred Jewel Box," will be performed at St. David's Episcopal Church in the Palisades followed by a second performance at All Saints Church in Chevy Chase. The a cappella program will feature cherished and time honored choral gems from the Anglican and Catholic traditions along with early American hymns and other favorites works. The program will also feature the East Coast Premiere of Christopher Hoh's beautiful new work, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of Hosts, and hymn singing featuring Robert Church, organist and choirmaster at St David's.
