At our season finale, two Steinways will grace the stage to celebrate this beloved operatic style. Highlights include Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, in its rarely heard original salon form. In addition, Washington Master Chorale will present excerpts from Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzer, Op. 52, and Lori Laitman’s witty and eloquent vocal cycle, Are Women People?, on texts from the American suffragist movement.
The program will include a generous list of critically-acclaimed Guest Artists including Thomas Pandolfi and Dr. Amanda Halstead on piano, Soprano Danielle Talamantes, and many more. See full list below. |
